Day Six of the Project

Here are a couple more pictures from Friday at the project, and some Saturday JOY to share with our blog prayer partners.

Don, Stan, and Robert celebrate the final PULL.
For you electricians out there, this was one of those celebration pictures of the last wire pull from the combiner panels to the PowerPac.  Three 90-degree sweeps and three LBs.

For everyone else, it was a HARD pull, and good to have it done!  :)

In an earlier blog, we mentioned the ingenious ways to bend conduit in other countries. This is a visual.
Tom says, "When you don't have 90-degree sweeps, this is always the first choice, to heat and bend conduit.  Hot exhaust always works!!"
This is end result of using exhaust heat to turn 2" PVC into spaghetti until it cools.
Stan is finishing the wiring in the five solar combiner boxes.  They should all be completed by Monday.
These guys "git 'er done"!

Now for the Saturday JOY
The larger array is now completed.  It will be put in service on Monday.
We started the second and much smaller array which will also be completed Monday.
Mike and Ruth have planned a nice day of fellowship and much-needed rest tomorrow, which is Sunday for us. We are going to visit a war memorial where a peace agreement was signed at the end of WW 2. Then on to Wom Beach where we will have our church service.  We all look forward to Trey sharing the message.

It has really been a blessed week. Thank you for your prayers!
